Margaret V. Pekel (Gaiser), 84, of Glen Ellyn passed away August 7, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Matthew B. Pekel. She is survived by her children Vicki (Reiner) Meyn, Julie (John) Vilas, Stephen (Lynn), Mark, Todd (Cathy), and David (Amber). Proud grandmother of Jonathan, Jennifer, Scott, Kevin, Gretchen, Martha, Bridget, Stephanie, Claire, Rachel, Mitchel, Sara and Nicolas. Great grandmother of Alexis, Ember and Addison. Survived by her brother Hans Gaiser and niece Janet (Rick) Michaelsen as well as numerous other nieces, nephews and faithful pet Oscar. She is preceded in death by her parents Gottlieb and Frieda (Streif) Gaiser brother Gerhard Gaiser. Visitation wil be on Thursday, August 9, 2018, 4-8PM at Williams-Kampp Funeral Home, 430 E. Roosevelt Rd. in Wheaton, IL. Funeral Mass will be on Friday 11:30 AM August 10, 2018 at St. James the Apostle Church, Glen Ellyn, IL. In lieu of flowers donations to Morton Arboretum, Lisle, IL.
