Thomas Michael Prodoehl, 71, of Wheaton, died Monday, May 7, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. He was born July 23, 1946 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Leo and Rita (nee Kirby) Prodoehl. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Joanne (nee Ott), his children, Brian (Jenny) Prodoehl; Eileen (Andrew) Klose; Timothy (Emily) Prodoehl; Thomas (Kristyn) Prodoehl; and Patricia (Jonathan) Strange, and was the beloved “Pop Pop” of 13 grandchildren; Madelyn, Myles, Caroline Prodoehl; Ryan and Molly Klose; Kyle, Owen, Tate Prodoehl; Payton, Olivia, Charlotte Prodoehl; Patrick and Sean Strange. Tom graduated in 1968 from LaSalle University in Philadelphia with a degree in business, after school he married Joanne on June 20, 1970. He retired from Sears after 35 years then worked at Carmax for 10 years before he fully retired. Tom enjoyed working after retirement at Glendale Lakes Golf Course. He was active in the Knights of Columbus-Wheaton Counsel and volunteered as a Eucharistic Minister and Minister of Hospitality at St. Michael Parish, as well, he volunteered at the People’s Resource Center Food Pantry.
Visitation will be Monday 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Williams-Kampp Funeral Home, 430 E Roosevelt Rd., Wheaton and the Funeral Service will be Tuesday at 10:00am at St. Michael’s Church, 310 So. Wheaton Ave, Wheaton. (Please Meet at Church) Interment Assumption Cemetery
