Lauriann R. Triko
Lauriann R. Triko

February 17, 1964 - December 27, 2017
Born in Atlanta, GA
Resided in Naperville, Illinois

Lauriann R Triko, beloved wife of Michael, loving mother of Alex, and dear sister of Hoke Smith Randall III “Chip” joined the angels on December 27th, 2017 after a 14 month-long fight against glioblastoma. She worked as a Systems Director at Blue Cross Blue Shield in downtown Chicago and is missed by many wonderful coworkers. She is a dog lover and is happy to watch over her goldendoodle Sharpie while Alex and Michael are not home. Lauri received her Bachelors and MBA at the University of Tennessee in only five years and got a job at BCBS shortly after being married in 1994. Lauri loves watching football at home next to the fireplace, and is a wonderful hug-giver. Her kindness is remembered by so many people in so many places across Illinois, Tennessee, Georgia, Washington D.C., and more. Although illness did bring her pain in the last year, her family knows that she is free from any pain where she is now. Michael and Alex are especially comforted by the thought that their guardian angel is someone as qualified and able as Lauri. As Lauri’s favorite color is purple, her daughter will always be comforted by the sight of purple sunsets and know that her mom is watching.
Service is private.
