Marvin P. “Red” Kleinedler, 90, of West Chicago, passed away peacefully at home on October 1, 2017, surrounded by his family. Preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Osborn Kleinedler, Marv and Ev were blessed with 63 years of marriage and are survived by daughters Sue Ditsch (Terry), Nancy Kleinedler, Patty Bava (Mark) and JoAnne Kleinedler. Grandchildren Kara Coates (AJ), Emily Weiss (Nick), Kristi Ditsch, Nick Bava (Katie), Caryn Hartmann (Alex), Zach Bava and great granddaughter Charlotte Ev Coates were loved by Papa and will miss his smile and sense of humor! Marv served in the Navy during World War II. A business owner many of his working years, Marv enjoyed golf, learning the game as a caddy in his pre-teen years. One of Marv’s most proud accomplishments in retirement was spending nearly 20 years as a volunteer for a local food pantry.
