John R. Karnoscak, 59, of West Chicago, passed away September 14, 2017. Beloved husband of Priscilla (nee Pfaff) Karnoscak; loving father of Julie (Travis) Privott, Barbie (Pete) Montgomery, John (Natalie) Karnoscak and Steven Karnoscak; proud grandfather of Hannah Montgomery, Arianna, Tia and Travante Privott; fond brother of Arlene (John) Mrkacek, Kevin Karnoscak, Tim Karnoscak and Mary (John) McNichols; uncle of many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Jule Ann (Burns) Karnoscak; his father, Stanley Karnoscak; and brothers, Dennis and Kenneth Karnoscak.
John was born and raised in Garfield Ridge on the South Side of Chicago. He was a gradute of John F. Kennedy High School and a lifelong fan of the Chicago White Sox. He enjoyed listening to The Beatles and Elvis. He was a history buff who constantly watched the History Channel and had a special interest in John F. Kennedy. John enjoyed the ME TV lineup including M.A.S.H., Bonanza, Rifleman, Andy Griffith, and The Brady Bunch. John also enjoyed times when the whole family could get together. He was a longtime, faithful parishioner of St. Mary’s Church in West Chicago.
Visitation Tuesday from 3 p.m. until time of service 7 p.m. at Williams-Kampp Funeral Home 430 E. Roosevelt Rd. Wheaton, IL 60187.
