Gerald L. Brunett, 84, a longtime resident of Carol Stream, IL, passed away April 5, 2017. Born August 3, 1932 in Chicago, IL, he was raised in Cicero, IL. He was the owner of Brunett's Landscaping for 42 years. Jerry was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and dear friend to many. His life-long wish as an avid Cub's fan was answered with last year's World Series victory. He loved fishing especially up North in Wisconsin.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years, Mary Ann (nee Matusek); his loving children, Richard (Rhonda), Lynn Brunett (Louie Luzinski) and Valerie Brunett (Nick Sadowsky); his dear grandchildren, Jordan Brunett, Michael (Jenn) Muro, Jen (Matt) Rogus, Tina Jablonski (Edgar Fernandez), TJ (Laura) Jablonski and Patrick DelFiacco; his cherished great-grandchildren, Rae Marie, Alex, Anthony, Chase, Jax, Gavinn, Tyler, Amelia and Kaydence; his fond sisters, Wilma (the late Primo) Sagrillo and Laurie Albrecht; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Mary Brunett; and his sisters, Alverna Micnerski and Mary Jane Severino.
Memorial visitation Sunday, April 9th from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the Memorial Service 4:00 p.m. at Williams-Kampp Funeral Home, 430 E. Roosevelt Rd., Wheaton (1 blk. East of Naperville Rd.). Services conclude at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jerry's name to Harbor Light Hospice at 800 Roosevelt Rd #206, Glen Ellyn, IL 60137 appreciated.
